According to authoritative statistics, by September 2013, the cumulative output of enterprises in the plastic products industry has reached a staggering 44.6 million tons, up 8.8 percentage points compared with the same period last year. Among them, 5.56 million tons were produced in September alone. It was 8.7 percent higher than a year earlier and 6 percent higher than in August. It can be seen from the statistics that the output growth in September is very fast, but the overall cumulative growth rate of plastic products today is somewhat slower than last year, the cumulative growth rate from January to September decreased by 1.4%, and the development of plastic products is gradually turning from rapid growth to stable development.
In terms of regions, the growth rate in the central and western regions of China is faster than that in the east, especially in the western regions, the output growth is the fastest. The increase in the west was 22% higher than in the east. Because the production of plastic products in western China has increased rapidly in recent years, accounting for the proportion of national products has also gradually increased, which shows that the overall layout of plastic products in China is moving toward stability.
